- ‘Building and partnering together

- The Evangelism of the Lost
- To present Jesus Christ to unchurched people in a relevant way.
- The Edification of Believers
- Through preaching, teaching, and prayer which will make true disciples of Christ.
Our Ministry
Our Ministry should reflect that of Jesus as we see Him in the Gospels.
Because we see Him choosing to be part of a team, we choose to be part of a team.
Because He believes in team work, we believe in team work.
Being part of a team means establishing and developing open trust relationships with fellow team members.
This is hard work and requires us to focus on leaping the hurdles of our insecurities and fears.
Teamwork – Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress, and working together is success
Teamwork – There is no limit to what can be accomplished if it doesn’t matter who gets the credit.
“God will always get the Glory”
With Teamwork – Nothing is impossible!

Our Community
At Bundaberg Living Word, “we are a body of believers” signifies a collective commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ, lived out in daily acts of faith and service. As “a home for all generations,” we foster an intergenerational exchange where both young and old find spiritual belonging and growth. Our description as “a family serving one another” embodies our ethos of mutual care, seen in initiatives like the Harvest Kitchen, ensuring every member feels supported. Central to our mission is the mandate to “love God and love people,” driving us to embody Christ’s greatest commandments and making us not just a church, but a thriving, compassionate family.
Our Mission
“To exalt God in our daily lives” is a profound commitment that goes beyond Sunday worship, permeating every aspect of our existence. It calls for a continuous acknowledgment of God’s presence, seeing His hand in every circumstance, and placing Him at the center of our actions and decisions. When we say “evangelise the lost,” we express our dedication to reaching out to those yet to discover God’s grace, offering them the transformative hope of the gospel. Coupled with this outreach is our mission to “encourage believers to live a life of discipleship,” pushing each member of our community to delve deeper into their faith journey, growing closer to Christ, and embodying His teachings in every facet of life.
What We Believe
As a “Pentecostal Church,” we are part of a rich and dynamic Christian tradition that values personal encounters with the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit can help us “live a victorious Spirit-filled life.” This means that we don’t just seek spiritual highs, but we let the Holy Spirit shape, strengthen, and renew our daily lives. We face difficulties, celebrate God’s blessings, and constantly pursue a closer, more personal relationship with God, making sure that every believer is ready to live a life of spiritual victories and steadfast faith. This is what makes us “an autonomous, Christian, Pentecostal Church,” with a distinctive identity in the wider Christian community.
